For his Marvel au, all the info is the same aside from anything involving The Seven. For crossovers, it's all still included.• Dorrian’s parents were paid a decent sum of money to “ensure their child’s place in the world.” With their low income, they took this opportunity, both for the money and for their son’s future.
The powers he was gifted with the ability to control and manipulate metal.
• Growing up, Dorrian had little help controlling abilities, but by his teen years, he figured it out.
After his parents died when he was seventeen, he impulsively enlisted in the Navy, where he had to hide his powers. It was hard, but he managed to do so. While serving overseas, Dorrian was taken as a prisoner of war and only escaped once he thought he could do so without actually harming himself or others.
• He looked up to Homelaner during this time-- seeing a Supe whose goal was to defend and protect people gave him hope in these times.
• During his second tour in Iraq, he was taken as a prisoner of war for three months. Undergoing various torture in hopes they’d gain information. He broke, eventually, but instead of telling them what they wanted, he killed them all and escaped.
• Adjusting to life back in the States was hard, and it was even harder to find a good paying job. That is, until Vought International managed to track him down and offered him a place among The Seven, which he took without much thought.
• At age 24, he was hopeful that this would work. Working alongside the man he looked up to, and with others who all seemed so mystical, was a dream.
He worked with them for four years before he left. The truth of all of it hit him hard-- working under a corporation that used their good doings for profit was against his morals. Homelander’s true personality didn’t help at all. Seeing a hero of his in the flesh hadn’t worked out as planned.
• In The Seven, he was known as the Steel Soldier.
• Once he left, he began a career of vigilante justice. The name he took on after that was Anarchist, due to the fact he typically went after corrupt federal agents or policemen-- but also because he thought it sounded cool and made him feel more “punk rock.”
Dorrian’s age during the first season of The Boys is 30.
